With 72 ascending modes of transport and a piste network 210 km long the Adelboden–Lenk ski region is one of the largest, most accessible and attractive in Switzerland.
Obviously, skiing and snowboarding are Adelboden’s biggest draws during the winter months, and downhill devotees of all abilities flock here for the world class facilities at Silleren, Adelboden–Lenk, Elsigen-Metsch, Tschentenalp, Engstligenalp and Betelberg. All the local sports stores offer quality equipment for hire and there are guides aplenty aat the Adelboden Snowsport School. But if you do fancy a day or two away from the downhill pistes, the Adelboden–Frutigen region also offers more than 15km of maintained sledging routes – so why not borrow one of The Cambrian’s toboggans and hurtle through the freshly fallen snow instead?
